In the McGee Tract
May the Great Oversoul of Emerson and Thoreau and the colorful pomposities of William Morris live forever in the shingle cottage (or is it a brown shingle or craftsman bungalow?) on McGee Street, built in 1904. It has two delightful craft-style leaded glass windows; we tweaked the design just a touch and added the colour. Its drop-in size is 24.25 x 14.25 in. (61.5 x 37 cm). Cost is $215.00 $140 plus shipping. But note: If you are “building green,” we can also have it sandwiched in a vapour-proof panel (sometimes called “triple glazing”) to keep in the heat (or keep out the cold). Sandwiching would add approximately 10 lbs. to the weight, would increase the drop-in size to 25.25 in. x 15.25 in., and would modestly increase shipping costs.
